Take Action: Support A Stronger Middle Class
Americans across the political spectrum agree that working families are struggling with stagnant wages and rising costs. But at least one sector of the economy is thriving: in 2016 alone, over 100,000 jobs were created in technology.
Tech jobs are growing so fast that there aren’t enough Americans with the skills required to do the work. Today, there are more than 500,000 good-paying tech jobs waiting to be filled.
We can begin to close the skills gap and rebuild the middle class if we once again invest in preparing workers for the jobs of the future. That’s why Seth introduced the Championing Apprenticeships for New Careers and Employees in Technology (CHANCE in Tech) Act.
If you agree that we need to prepare workers young and old for the changing economy, please add your name as a citizen co-sponsor of Seth's CHANCE in Tech Act.
Seth co-authored this bipartisan jobs legislation to help promote public-private partnerships that will place more workers in apprenticeships. This bill is a major step toward ensuring that more Americans have the opportunities that they need to succeed in our changing economy.
